Decent, but not outstanding
Solid car that does its job without exciting me. Ride comfortable, easy to drive, safety features work well. Interior materials feel a step below the price point, engine noisy when pushed. Reliable but not class-leading.

My favourite commuter ever
40 miles each way. The 2022 Lexus NX makes the commute genuinely enjoyable. Seats stay comfortable, adaptive cruise works brilliantly, fuel costs reasonable. After 25,000 miles nothing has gone wrong.

Not what I expected
Reliability has been below the brand's reputation. Two dealer visits in the first year for issues that shouldn't exist on a new car. Interior quality also doesn't match the asking price.

Strong value proposition
At this price point the 2022 Lexus NX is difficult to beat on pure value. Generous standard equipment, solid reliability record, and depreciation that won't sting too badly.

Worst car purchase I've ever made
Cannot recommend. Transmission issue, electrical fault that stranded me, engine warning light dealer cannot diagnose. Every visit takes a week. I had high expectations. Avoid.

Solid choice — does most things very well
The 2022 Lexus NX hits a sweet spot for me. Refined enough for the motorway, economical enough for commuting, and practical enough for family duties. I'd have rated it five stars but the infotainment system has a frustrating habit of not connecting to my phone immediately on start-up. Software updat…

Surprisingly fun to drive
I bought the 2022 Lexus NX primarily for practicality and expected it to be dull. I was wrong. The chassis is genuinely sorted — accurate steering, good body control, and an engine that's eager rather than just adequate. Great seats, solid visibility, and enough tech to feel modern. Makes you look f…

Quality control issues from day one
My 2022 Lexus NX came with several fit-and-finish issues straight from the factory — a door seal that whistles at speed, a dashboard rattle that took three dealer visits to fix, and a paint imperfection on the boot lid. The underlying car may be good but mine had a bad build day. Disappointing for t…
