The 2022 Mazda Mazda3. A compact car that genuinely feels premium — refined, stylish, and driver-focused above its class.

Worth every penny

Spent more than budget allowed but the 2022 Mazda Mazda3 justified every dollar. Cruising at highway speeds is serene, seats are supportive over distance, tech is useful rather than gimmicky. Running costs lower than expected.

Exceeded every expectation

Nervous buying without testing more alternatives but after 18 months: not a single unplanned shop visit. Safety features have intervened twice on the motorway. Comfortable on long journeys, easy to park. Everything you want.

Impressed after 12 months

Sceptical when I ordered — playing it safe rather than exciting myself. A year in, genuinely impressed. More refined than expected, seats comfortable on long trips, nothing unexpected has gone wrong.

Solid choice — does most things very well

Hits a sweet spot for me. Refined on the motorway, economical for commuting, practical for family. Only gripe is infotainment slow to connect to phone on startup. Build quality noticeably better than my previous car.

Quality control issues from day one

Factory fit-and-finish issues: door seal whistles at speed, dashboard rattle took three dealer visits to fix, paint imperfection on boot lid. Disappointing for this price. Car should have been right first time.

Good but expected more

Competent, reliable, comfortable. But 'competent' isn't what you want spending this much. Hard plastic panels in places, engine note unpleasant. Test-drive the competition before committing.

Great daily driver, small gripes

Eight months in — fuel efficiency, comfort, and city traffic handling are all impressive. Gripes: rear legroom slightly tight for tall adults, auto transmission occasionally hesitates. Minor. Overall package excellent.

Absolutely love it — couldn't be happier

Picked up my 2022 Mazda Mazda3 and have zero complaints. Build quality is exceptional, driving experience puts a smile on my face every commute. Fuel economy beats EPA estimates. Highly recommend.
