Quality control issues from day one
Factory fit-and-finish issues: door seal whistles at speed, dashboard rattle took three dealer visits to fix, paint imperfection on boot lid. Disappointing for this price. Car should have been right first time.

Strong value proposition
At this price point the 2021 RAM 2500 is difficult to beat on pure value. Generous standard equipment, solid reliability record, and depreciation that won't sting too badly.

Not what I expected
Reliability has been below the brand's reputation. Two dealer visits in the first year for issues that shouldn't exist on a new car. Interior quality also doesn't match the asking price.

Worth every penny
Spent more than budget allowed but the 2021 RAM 2500 justified every dollar. Cruising at highway speeds is serene, seats are supportive over distance, tech is useful rather than gimmicky. Running costs lower than expected.

Surprisingly fun to drive
I bought the 2021 RAM 2500 primarily for practicality and expected it to be dull. I was wrong. The chassis is genuinely sorted — accurate steering, good body control, and an engine that's eager rather than just adequate. Great seats, solid visibility, and enough tech to feel modern. Makes you look f…

Far more refined than I expected, the seats are comfortable over long distances, and not one unexpected thing has gone wrong. Knocked a sta…
