Honest thoughts on India after my first visit

Honeymoon in India — Mumbai and the countryside delivered everything

Weekend in Varanasi, India — more than I expected from a short trip
Only had a long weekend — about 14 days — in India, based in Varanasi. More than enough to fall for the place. Did Varanasi ghats on day one and spent the rest of the time just walking and eating. The butter chicken situation here is no joke — some of the best eating I've done anywhere.

Good country, exhausting tourist industry
