Finding the best Chelo Kebab in the city — a personal search
I spent three months trying every version of Chelo Kebab I could find locally. The variation in quality is extraordinary. The best version handled dried limes with genuine knowledge and the rich and saffron-gilded result was noticeably superior.

Restaurant review — Chelo Kebab that actually delivered
I'm sceptical of any restaurant claiming to do Chelo Kebab well, having been disappointed often enough. This one delivered. The subtly bitter and complex base was authentic and the use of saffron showed real knowledge.

Decent Chelo Kebab — nothing more, nothing less
Chelo Kebab at this place was fine. The fragrant and aromatic flavour was there but not distinguished. saffron was present in the right quantities but without the care that makes the difference. You can taste when something is being made to a formula.

The Chelo Kebab I grew up eating — memory as a review
I grew up eating Chelo Kebab and have strong opinions shaped by memory. The version here triggered that recognition in the first bite — the rich and saffron-gilded was right, dried limes was handled the way it should be.

Chelo Kebab exceeded every expectation
I went in with low expectations — I'd had mediocre versions before. What I found was Chelo Kebab made with real commitment to barberries and technique. The sweet-sour with pomegranate result was more complex and satisfying than anything I'd had before.
