Pairing Hummus correctly — a note on arak
Most people overlook how much the right drink changes Hummus. I ordered it with arak and the bright and balanced elements of the dish sharpened considerably against the pairing. za'atar in particular became more prominent in a good way.

Finding the best Hummus in the city — a personal search
I spent three months trying every version of Hummus I could find locally. The variation in quality is extraordinary. The best version handled sumac with genuine knowledge and the aromatic with herbs and spice result was noticeably superior.

Spice level warning — Hummus is not what I expected
I underestimated Hummus. The fresh and citrusy description didn't prepare me for the reality. za'atar brings a heat or pungency that builds steadily rather than hitting upfront. By halfway through I was sweating but couldn't stop eating.

Cultural discovery through Hummus
Hummus opened a door into a cuisine I'd previously known almost nothing about. The fresh and citrusy flavours are unlike anything in my usual rotation and I mean that positively. Hummus exceeded every expectation
I went in with low expectations — I'd had mediocre versions before. What I found was Hummus made with real commitment to seven-spice baharat blend and technique. The fresh and citrusy result was more complex and satisfying than anything I'd had before.

Holiday memory — Hummus that transported me back
I first ate Hummus on a trip five years ago and have been searching for a version this good ever since. This restaurant finally delivered the nutty and sesame-forward quality I remembered. seven-spice baharat blend was handled correctly — something most restaurants here get slightly wrong.

Home cooking attempt — Hummus from scratch
I spent an afternoon making Hummus from scratch following a traditional recipe. Getting za'atar right was the main challenge — it's not as straightforward as it looks. The aromatic with herbs and spice result was rewarding once I got it right.

Decent Hummus — nothing more, nothing less
Hummus at this place was fine. The fresh and citrusy flavour was there but not distinguished. za'atar was present in the right quantities but without the care that makes the difference. You can taste when something is being made to a formula.

First time trying Hummus — completely converted
I had never tried Hummus before this visit and I wasn't sure what to expect. The fresh and citrusy taste hit immediately and made sense of the dish in a way descriptions never quite do. pine nuts is an ingredient I'd not encountered used quite like this before.
