Underwhelming Goi Cuon — expected more
I was looking forward to Goi Cuon here based on the reputation. The reality was disappointing. The fresh with citrus and mint character that makes this dish special was muted — either from shortcuts with fresh mint and coriander or from scaling up production at the expense of quality.

Spice level warning — Goi Cuon is not what I expected
I underestimated Goi Cuon. The clean and deeply savoury description didn't prepare me for the reality. fresh mint and coriander brings a heat or pungency that builds steadily rather than hitting upfront. By halfway through I was sweating but couldn't stop eating.

Decent Goi Cuon — nothing more, nothing less
Goi Cuon at this place was fine. The light and herbal flavour was there but not distinguished. fish sauce was present in the right quantities but without the care that makes the difference. You can taste when something is being made to a formula.
