One of the greatest films ever made

I've seen Schindler's List multiple times now and it just keeps getting better. the script is something rarely matched in cinema. If you haven't watched it yet, clear your evening.

Stayed with me for weeks

Schindler's List ended and I sat with it for weeks. The survival theme kept circling back. I'd be doing something mundane and the opening scene would pop into my head. That kind of resonance is rare.

The craft behind this film is astonishing

Every choice in Schindler's List feels deliberate. The framing, the pacing, the opening scene — the director is operating at a level most filmmakers never reach. It's the kind of film you study rather than just watch.
