Avatar: The Last Airbender (2005)

I watched Avatar: The Last Airbender as a kid and rewatched it as an adult. It's even better the second time. the world-building depth is only apparent when you're older. Aang remains one of the great animated characters.

I did not expect Avatar: The Last Airbender to make me cry but here we are. The Ember Island Players hit me completely off guard. Katara is written with such care that the emotional moments land with full weight.
