Wonder Woman (2017)

I liked Wonder Woman when I first saw it, but the second viewing is where it clicked. Once you notice how Patty Jenkins plants every detail early on, the whole film transforms. Layers everywhere.

I first watched Wonder Woman as a teenager and thought it was fine. Rewatched at 30 and it hit completely differently. The war and its costs undercurrent makes total sense now in a way it didn't before.
