Stayed with me for weeks

Black Panther ended and I sat with it for weeks. The isolationism vs global responsibility theme kept circling back. I'd be doing something mundane and the vibranium train fight would pop into my head. That kind of resonance is rare.

The ending is divisive for a reason

Black Panther commits to a conclusion that not everyone will appreciate. I found it perfectly right — it refuses easy comfort. If you want tidy resolution you may be frustrated. If you want truth, it delivers.

Can't believe I waited this long to watch it

Everyone told me to watch Black Panther for years. Finally did and instantly understood why. Michael B. Jordan's compelling Killmonger is immediately apparent. Now I'm recommending it just as loudly to everyone else.

Better on second watch

I liked Black Panther when I first saw it, but the second viewing is where it clicked. Once you notice how Ryan Coogler plants every detail early on, the whole film transforms. Layers everywhere.

The ending absolutely floored me

Black Panther builds so carefully to its conclusion that when it arrives you feel genuinely moved. The colonialism and identity thread pays off in a way that's earned rather than manipulative. Couldn't sleep afterward.

Watched it blind and was blown away

I went into Black Panther knowing nothing — no trailer, no plot summary. I strongly recommend that approach. The colonialism and identity hits much harder when you haven't been primed for it. Go in cold.
