Watched with my family — sparked an incredible conversation
We watched Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness together and spent an hour talking about what makes us heroes afterward. That kind of conversation doesn't happen often. The film gives you something real to think about together.

The ending absolutely floored me
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness builds so carefully to its conclusion that when it arrives you feel genuinely moved. The the multiverse of consequences thread pays off in a way that's earned rather than manipulative. Couldn't sleep afterward.

Dated in some ways but still powerful
Some elements of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness show their age, but the core of it — the multiverse of consequences, Elizabeth Olsen's terrifying Wanda — hasn't diminished at all. Films this good age better than almost anything else.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is not background viewing. Every scene requires you. Put your phone down. Sam Raimi is doing too much to be half-watched. Give it the attention it deserves.
