Good but not the greatest ever
Band of Brothers is excellent television but I wouldn't rank it as the all-time greatest. the real veterans speaking to camera in the final episode is legitimately fantastic but some middle episodes lose momentum. Worth watching absolutely, just with tempered expectations.

Binge-watched the whole thing in a week
I started Band of Brothers thinking I'd watch an episode or two. Three sleepless nights later I'd finished the entire run. the extraordinary ensemble cast is just unmatched. Carwood Lipton is one of the great characters in TV history.

Slow start but rewards patience
Band of Brothers takes a few episodes to find its feet. By the time you reach Bastogne, you understand what the show is going for. Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks has a long game in mind and it pays off beautifully.

Band of Brothers creates a world so fully realised that every detail feels intentional. The rules are consistent, the consequences are real. leadership and sacrifice gives the whole world a moral weight that most shows lack entirely.
