Perfect for bingeing

Every episode of Mindhunter ends at exactly the right moment to make you immediately start the next one. David Fincher's cold clinical direction is addictive in the best possible way. I finished the whole run in four days.

Rewatchable from the very first episode

Knowing how Mindhunter ends makes the early episodes even more rewarding. Joe Penhall plants seeds so subtly you don't notice them until the second watch. Wendy Carr's journey hits harder when you know where it leads.

The finale actually delivered

So many shows fail their endings. Mindhunter stuck the landing. The final episode resolves Wendy Carr's arc in a way that feels both surprising and inevitable. Joe Penhall clearly knew where this was going from episode one.

Binge-watched the whole thing in a week

I started Mindhunter thinking I'd watch an episode or two. Three sleepless nights later I'd finished the entire run. David Fincher's cold clinical direction is just unmatched. Bill Tench is one of the great characters in TV history.

Excellent ensemble cast

What makes Mindhunter special is how every character feels fully realised. Not just Wendy Carr — even the minor characters have depth. Joe Penhall clearly spent years thinking about this world.

Absolutely gripping from start to finish

I haven't been this invested in characters since I was a kid. Bill Tench is brilliantly written — you understand exactly why they make terrible decisions. the dynamic between Jonathan Groff and Holt McCallany is the best part of an already excellent show.

Good but not the greatest ever

Mindhunter is excellent television but I wouldn't rank it as the all-time greatest. the dynamic between Jonathan Groff and Holt McCallany is legitimately fantastic but some middle episodes lose momentum. Worth watching absolutely, just with tempered expectations.
