Restaurant review — Pavlova that actually delivered
I'm sceptical of any restaurant claiming to do Pavlova well, having been disappointed often enough. This one delivered. The subtly sweet with native fruits base was authentic and the use of macadamia nut showed real knowledge.

Comparing Pavlova across three restaurants — an honest verdict
I ate Pavlova at three different restaurants in the same week to compare. The results were illuminating. The use of Vegemite varied significantly — only one got it right. The subtly sweet with native fruits profile should be consistent but interpretation differs widely.

Traditional versus modern Pavlova — which wins?
I've now had Pavlova prepared traditionally and in a modern interpretation. Both are interesting. The traditional version emphasises bush tucker wattle seed in the way Australian cuisine has absorbed multicultural influences and developed a distinct contemporary style. The fresh and light character …

Holiday memory — Pavlova that transported me back
I first ate Pavlova on a trip five years ago and have been searching for a version this good ever since. This restaurant finally delivered the clean and straightforward quality I remembered. barramundi was handled correctly — something most restaurants here get slightly wrong.

Pavlova exceeded every expectation
I went in with low expectations — I'd had mediocre versions before. What I found was Pavlova made with real commitment to macadamia nut and technique. The intensely savoury from Vegemite result was more complex and satisfying than anything I'd had before.

Decent Pavlova — nothing more, nothing less
Pavlova at this place was fine. The fresh and light flavour was there but not distinguished. bush tucker wattle seed was present in the right quantities but without the care that makes the difference. You can taste when something is being made to a formula.

Honest verdict on Pavlova — good but not exceptional
Pavlova here was solidly made — clean and straightforward without anything to complain about. Anzac oats was present and handled reasonably. But something was missing from the depth that this dish should have.

Finding the best Pavlova in the city — a personal search
I spent three months trying every version of Pavlova I could find locally. The variation in quality is extraordinary. The best version handled macadamia nut with genuine knowledge and the fresh and light result was noticeably superior.

First time trying Pavlova — completely converted
I had never tried Pavlova before this visit and I wasn't sure what to expect. The clean and straightforward taste hit immediately and made sense of the dish in a way descriptions never quite do. macadamia nut is an ingredient I'd not encountered used quite like this before.
